Join Roo at the LA Zoo for a free CE event! 

Mingle with other veterinary professionals and enjoy the day at the Zoo! 

Description: Come enjoy an interactive CE event and help Agent Niemiec solve a crime. Someone has stolen a Jaguar from the Los Angeles Zoo and we are assembling a team of professionals to assist Dr. Niemiec from "Her Majesty's Secret Veterinary Service" to get him back. This is a James Bond/Indiana Jones type of adventure, so you are encouraged to dress to the nines or in adventure gear if you so desire. In theme with the event, Dr. Niemiec will give a presentation on "Surviving the dental operatory as a relief (or associate) vet, it's a jungle out there."

About Speaker

Dr. Brook Niemiec, DVM, DAVDC, DEVCD, FAVD

Dr. Niemiec is a 1994 graduate of the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Niemiec is a Board Certified Specialist in Veterinary Dentistry at both the American and European Veterinary Dental Colleges. In addition, he is a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry. He is one of fewer than 10 veterinarians worldwide to hold all three of these certificates.

Dr. Niemiec has had the pleasure of providing high-quality dental care for the pets of Southern California since 1995, performing over 50,000 dental procedures. Although Dr. Niemiec is skilled in all aspects of veterinary dentistry, his special interests include endodontic therapy (root canals), periodontal therapy and surgery, dental radiology, and implant dentistry.

In his spare time, Dr. Niemiec is an enthusiastic outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, fishing, skiing, and camping. He also enjoys time on the beach with his Labrador Retriever, Sage.
